Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Business Development to join our team at The Bristal Assisted Living. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive business development and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and market share expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strategic business relationships and networking opportunities to drive new referral source relationships, brand awareness, and resident acquisition.
- Collaborate with our corporate regional team to develop and implement growth initiatives, as needed.
- Prepare and deliver public speaking opportunities to effectively translate our brand identity and image.
- Prepare business plans for review and approval by our Vice President, Marketing and Regional Director of Sales.
- Collaborate with our Vice President, Marketing to establish appropriate commission and financial agreements with partners.
- Provide assistance in planning and evaluating business and marketing initiatives.
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and/or expansion of services that improve market position.
- Maintain and update our Business Development database in the Salesforce program.
- Complete weekly outreach reports and schedule outreach tasks for the approaching week.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices through ongoing education and professional development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Health Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of related experience in strategic planning and business development.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and public speaking skills.
- Experience with strategic planning and territory management.
- Knowledge of market trends and best practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Working Conditions:
- Speaking on the phone: 45%

- Evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
