ASR International Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team at our Corporate Headquarters in Hauppauge, NY.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of QA/QC, First Article Inspection, Supplier Quality Inspections, and be able to analyze and assess Commercial and Government business development opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing and assessing Commercial and Government business development opportunities
  • Opening the door to new companies offering First Article Inspection support
  • Qualifying companies to be partners
  • Reviewing and analyzing related RFP's and SOWs to determine feasibility
  • Performing market research for Commercial and Government opportunities to determine win threshold
  • Creating 'must have' experiences related to job specific requirements
  • Connecting/communicating with key stakeholders in oil & gas, aviation, and other industries around the world for available opportunities
  • Serving as Point of Contact for some contracts ensuring all requirements are met to terms of the contract

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong understanding of QA/QC, First Article Inspection, Supplier Quality Inspections, or willingness to learn the concepts with minimal instruction
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding / ability to use Microsoft 365 suite
  • Familiarity with service-based industries/contracts
  • Ability to quickly learn new standards and concepts
  • Perform work tasks with a High degree of accuracy and keen attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn, and serve in multiple roles with a dedication to overall progress of the company
