Job Summary

Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Director of Global Sourcing and Procurement to lead our global sourcing and purchasing functions. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing and procurement strategies that align with the company's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement global sourcing and procurement strategies that enhance customer on-time delivery, reduce past due orders, and optimize inventory levels.
  • Lead and manage a multicultural global team to drive strategic supplier relationships, including supplier selection, negotiation, and inventory stocking programs.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives that optimize inventory investment, improve inventory turnover, and ensure 100% on-time work order starts.
  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with Business Development Managers, Sales teams, and customers to align operations with market demands.
  • Lead comprehensive business reviews to assess performance against customer demands and company metrics.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or Logistics.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive sourcing experience, including 5 years in a management or leadership capacity.
  • Proven ability to excel within a matrix organization and in collaborative settings.
  • Extensive experience in establishing and scaling a Sourcing & Purchasing function, including strategic planning and managing diverse teams across various commodities and locations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of effective cross-functional collaboration and senior leadership engagement.
