Business Development Manager

Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager at PIIAC will be responsible for maintaining and maximizing profitable relationships with clients and growing the book of business through new client sales. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial insurance products and services, as well as excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, qualify, and develop commercial insurance opportunities with new and existing clients
• Foster and maintain excellent relationships with clients and prospects through regular follow-up and accurate quotations
• Actively partner and network for new clients and business opportunities
• Monitor and review key metrics to ensure sales targets are achieved
Requirements:
• Hold the insurance license required by your state and have a minimum of two years personal and commercial lines insurance account management experience
• Possess a valid driver's license and a source of reliable transportation
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations
• Have a proven track record of business to business sales success and strong presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills
Compensation: $42,000.00 per year
