Delivery and Service Operations Specialist

The Delivery and Service Operations Specialist is a key member of the operations team at Bob's Discount Furniture, supporting data management, data reporting, and carrier invoicing. This person will work closely with the Delivery Administration & Analytics Manager, operations teams, and cross-functional teams to improve the company's efficiencies using gathered data. This role will be a remote position.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for preparation and auditing of Carrier Invoicing, including submission to Accounts Payable for review.
• Maintain professional relationships with carrier/service providers, acting as a representative of the organization to collect information.
• Analyze and report on data to provide insight on company performance and financial status.
• Responsible for Systems Administration including updates for new markets, changes in hierarchy or delivery carrier/service providers.
• Simplify processes or create necessary reporting to increase visibility, reduce costs, and drive network efficiencies.
• Oversee Supply Chain alerts between internal and external partners communicating new products, processes, and/or best practices ensuring consistency.
• Consistently seeks ways to improve supply chain operations, including evaluating approaches, processes, tools, and technology.
• Maintain records across various tools and systems and participate in multiple simultaneous projects.
• Develop and implement logistical plans, respond to issues that arise, and find solutions to improve costs and efficiency.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or 5-10 years of previous related experience.
• Highly proficient in MS Office; advanced Excel a must.
• Experience with SAP and Power BI preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Experience with financial analysis concepts.
• Process improvement skills.
• Ability to use sound judgement and decision making.
• Flexible, self-motivated, and highly organized.
• High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
