Key Responsibilities
  • Read and record gas meter readings for billing purposes
  • Observe and report any abnormal, dangerous, or damaged conditions related to gas meters and adjacent areas
  • Perform disconnects, paint meters, complete electronic orders, and conduct atmospheric corrosion surveys
  • Change index and meter glass
  • Assist with service and construction activities
  • Complete all safety-related training
  • Locate and mark underground utilities
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Utility, field service, or construction experience preferred
