Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Royal American Companies. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the preservation and upkeep of our properties, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance on various systems and equipment.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify and address any maintenance issues or concerns.
  • Utilize OSHA standards and company safety policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks and projects in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, responding to their maintenance requests and concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and operating manuals for equipment and systems.
  • Participate in a standby emergency schedule for evening, weekend, and holiday coverage.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; previous experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of property HVAC units and ability to troubleshoot units.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to safely lift and carry weights up to 50 pounds and move large appliances.
  • Valid driver's license required.
Working Conditions

The Maintenance Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions. The ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and equipment is essential.
