Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled and client-oriented Technical Support Specialist to become a part of our team at IT Specialists.

As a Technical Support Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to deliver technical assistance and troubleshooting support to our clientele.

Your duties will include managing incoming support requests, diagnosing and resolving technical challenges, and escalating intricate issues to senior staff when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical assistance and troubleshooting support to clients through various communication channels.
  • Manage incoming support requests and accurately document all pertinent information in the ticketing system.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges for end-users, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior staff or other team members as necessary.
  • Assist clients in setting up and configuring both hardware and software.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and updates on client systems.
  • Keep abreast of the latest technologies and industry developments.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve technical challenges and enhance client satisfaction.
Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience as a Technical Support Specialist or in a similar capacity within a Managed Service Provider.
  • Strong understanding of IT support and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service abilities.
  • Capability to diagnose and resolve technical challenges promptly.
  • Familiarity with ITSM ticketing systems and remote support tools.
  • Knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Basic comprehension of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are advantageous.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred.
