REPORTS TO: IT Director

JOB SUMMARY: This role is pivotal in delivering hardware and software assistance to the organization, both remotely and in-person. Responsibilities include installing and configuring computer systems and software, troubleshooting issues, and educating users.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver in-person and remote technical assistance, addressing software, hardware, and network-related issues.
- Manage the installation and maintenance of computers, telephones, and peripherals.
- Set up new equipment and software for users, replacing outdated or malfunctioning devices.
- Document user interactions and the steps taken to resolve issues.
- Provide training to users on computer operations, software, and best practices.
- Create and update technical documentation and support procedures.
- Maintain compliance with software licensing and manage the hardware and software library.
- Contribute to IT Department projects and initiatives as needed.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Develop documentation outlining security workflows across departments.
- Recommend updates to protocols related to information security.
- Support technology projects and other assigned duties.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements into new applications and systems.
- Adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
- Show willingness to learn new technologies.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- Ability to conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to convey technical information to non-technical users effectively.
- View challenges as opportunities to learn new concepts and technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for assisting users.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Ability to multitask and work accurately under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work varied hours to support IT systems.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- CompTIA Security+ certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, and SOC2.
- Ability to adapt to new situations and ambiguity.
- Experience in athletics or sports is a plus.
- Experience working with executives and Systems Administrators in auditing systems and policies.
- Hands-on experience with asset management systems.
Compensation: $26.00 per hour
