Account Manager

BenefitHub is seeking an experienced Account Manager to develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, understanding their business needs and providing innovative solutions to drive growth and success.
This role requires a strong understanding of employee benefits and the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing national accounts and a strong network of broker consultants and vendors.
The Account Manager will work closely with the Senior Account Managers, Implementations, and Director of Client Services to educate and excite clients about BenefitHub's innovative solutions, identify cross-selling opportunities, and provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with assigned clients on a monthly/quarterly basis to review performance results, updates on innovations introduced or in the pipeline.
- Assist clients in developing internal client communications or incentive programs aimed at increasing user participation.
- Develop knowledge around the current platform functionality and upcoming innovations.
- Present demonstrations for users and administrators of the BenefitHub site in a fluid, articulate manner.
- Understand and discover upcoming client initiatives so product programs can be coincided for support.
- Look for opportunities to introduce products that support the client and bring a cross-sell mentality to the organization.
- Research and resolve escalated issues brought to forth from the client.
- May facilitate simple implementations for the client or will be a key member of the implementation team for more complex implementations.
- Perform data analysis using Excel and prepare PowerPoint presentations as required.
- Actively participate in process improvement activities and workflow redesign.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business Administration or 5+yrs experience managing National Accounts with a minimum of 5000 lives.
- Background and experience with employee benefits strongly preferred.
- Previous experience managing client relationships with Fortune 500 companies and interacting with executive level leadership.
- Proficient in compiling reports, summary analysis, and presenting solutions to clients.
- Intermediate experience with MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, CRMs, and PowerPoint required.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent customer service, professional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet competing deadlines.
- MUST HAVE - strong team player, ability to build positive and collaborative relationships within the organization and with clients, brokers/consultants, and vendors.
