Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Manager to join our finance team. This is a permanent role that will be instrumental in overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including intercompany accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, P&L analysis, and managing the month and year-end processes for the division under the Controller.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits.
  • Meet financial accounting objectives.
  • Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and management of the finance and accounting team.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to leadership.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting or financial management role with proven proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and financial management.
  • Strong working knowledge of detailed financial data analysis and reporting.
  • Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to direct and supervise effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Solid experience coordinating audit activities and managing reporting.
  • Proficient in ERP's such as SAP or Oracle, with advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience with creating financial statements and knowledge of internal controls.
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
