About the Role:
Frazer, a prominent manufacturer of emergency medical vehicles, is in search of a Sales Engineer to enhance our team. This position reports directly to the Sales Operations Manager and plays a crucial role in supporting the Regional Sales Managers throughout the sales process. You will become a product knowledge authority while demonstrating exceptional accuracy and productivity with various software applications, including data processing and document management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the technical intermediary between the sales team and engineering.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on configuration, pricing, and quotes.
  • Assist the sales team in evaluating and responding to bids and formal proposals.
  • Address customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person, providing necessary technical specifications and pricing.
  • Ensure that sales personnel have all required information to effectively communicate with customers regarding production units.
  • Represent customer interests while collaborating with engineering, purchasing, and production throughout the sales cycle.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance productivity.
  • Embody Frazer's Core Values while working with colleagues, vendors, and customers to achieve collective goals.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Conduct hands-on inspections of used units for re-mounting.
  • Support the regional sales manager during final inspections and customer delivery walkthroughs.
  • Ensure timely processing of incoming orders.
  • Facilitate customer specification review meetings to understand and address requirements.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships through attendance at trade shows and events.
  • Submit accurate monthly expense reports punctually.
  • Track time in the HRIS system and verify weekly.

Qualifications:
  • College degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Ability to pass background and motor vehicle record checks.
  • Reliable transportation and vehicle insurance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Syteline software.
  • Familiarity with municipal government sales.
  • Background in Fire/EMS.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
