Job Summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Project Engineer to join our Water group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and evaluating waterway structures, locks, dams, and other water resources projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Water Resources Engineering: Design and evaluate waterway structures, locks, dams, and other water resources projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Hydrologic and Hydraulic Analysis: Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and modeling for evaluating, rehabilitating, or designing new locks, dams, levees, hydropower features, flood risk management, ecosystem restoration, and other waterway and waterfront projects.
  • Project Management: Develop work scopes, technical proposals, and manage the hydrologic and hydraulic design aspects of projects, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor junior staff to further develop their understanding of water resources engineering analyses, design, and construction.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field of practice required; Master's degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
  • License: FE or PE license in the state where office is located, or ability to obtain.
  • Skills: Strong Microsoft Office skills, strong written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and desire to work collaboratively in a team environment.
