Senior Drainage Engineer

GPI is seeking a highly skilled Senior Drainage Engineer to join our team in the Tampa and Orlando regions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for creating innovative solutions for communities in these areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of conveyance systems
  • Design and inspect best management practices for erosion and sediment control
  • Prepare technical documents, including drainage reports and permitting documents
  • Design and plan stormwater management facilities and floodplain compensation analysis
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet challenging design and schedule requirements

Requirements:

  • BS degree in Civil Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in highway drainage design and plan production
  • Proficiency in hydrology & hydraulic analysis, design of flood control/storm-water management facilities, drainage and erosion control design
  • Florida PE required
  • Proficient with MicroStation and stormwater design tools
