Wireless Stability Engineer, Cellular

At Apple, we're pushing the boundaries of wireless technology to deliver seamless connectivity experiences to our customers. As a Wireless Stability Engineer, Cellular, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality releases of our wireless features and software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute system overall stability tests on Apple products to identify and resolve issues related to cellular technologies such as 5G NR FR1 and mmW, LTE, IMS, etc.
  • Collaborate with platform architecture, standardization, firmware/protocol development, system test & carrier engineering teams to drive improvement proposals and baseband optimizations.
  • Design, develop, and patent the next generation of our state-of-the-art connectivity technologies.
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with testing cellular technologies such as 5G NR FR1 and mmW, LTE, IMS, etc.
  • Deep understanding of Cellular Protocol stack, SQA methodologies & practices.
  • Experience in developing test strategies, test plans, and executing them with automation or manual testing.
  • Automation experience and knowledge of modern scripting or compiled languages (Python, Obj-C, Swift).
  • Outstanding communication skills vital to collaborate with multi-functional teams.
  • An analytical, methodical, and creative problem solver committed to driving quality forward.

  • Competitive base pay between $135,400 and $250,600, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
