Position Overview:

The Modem Platform Software Engineer will be tasked with the development and delivery of modem BSP software for iPhone/iPad. This role involves creating advanced BSP/device drivers for modems, executing board bring-up and hardware validation, reviewing hardware schematics, and assisting in hardware debugging.

You will also support factory testing, address critical on-site issues, perform modem software integration, and stabilize the baseline. Collaboration with partners in hardware, RF, protocol, and quality assurance will be essential.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in BSP/device driver development and debugging.
  • Proficient programming skills in C and C++.
  • In-depth understanding of multi-core embedded hardware systems and real-time operating systems.
  • Strong analytical skills for diagnosing and resolving complex modem issues.
  • Highly motivated, disciplined, and a self-starter.
  • A collaborative team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with assembly programming.
  • Familiarity with multiple driver areas.
Education & Experience:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.

Compensation & Benefits:
At Apple, base pay is just one component of our comprehensive compensation package, determined within a specific range. This structure allows for growth and development within your role.

The base pay range for this position is between $135,400 and $250,600, influenced by your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Employees at Apple also have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

Additionally, employees may be eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
