Role Description:

You will be part of a dynamic Software Engineering team within the Sensing and Connectivity organization at Apple. This team is accountable for designing and delivering high-quality wireless solutions across all Apple products. Your contributions will enhance the connectivity experience for our users.

Your responsibilities will include the development of testing methodologies to validate WiFi and Bluetooth firmware on RF modules, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams for factory support.

Additional duties encompass Continuous Integration, bot maintenance, and the creation of testing strategies utilizing various methodologies. You will also be involved in building test setups, automating test frameworks and cases, and drafting design documents to ensure top-notch quality in Connectivity for Apple products.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Python and/or C/C++.
  • Prior experience in automation is essential.
  • A minimum of 3 years in CI, DevOps, and SQA methodologies and practices.
  • Experience in formulating test strategies and executing them through automation or manual testing.
  • Familiarity with WiFi and/or Bluetooth is advantageous.
  • Experience in root cause analysis and debugging complex issues while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Adept at driving cross-functional decisions and cooperating with other testing teams for a comprehensive end-to-end product testing strategy.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on aspects that significantly impact our customers.
  • Capability to write automation scripts and enhance existing test cases for improved efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Wi-Fi technologies.
Compensation & Benefits:

At Apple, base pay is one component of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides opportunities for advancement as you grow within your role.

The base pay range for this position is between $129,600 and $236,300, depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees have the chance to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

Employees are also eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
