Enterprise Bank & Trust is seeking a highly skilled Senior Paralegal Specialist to support the in-house legal department with legal process, case management, attorney fee tracking, legal research, and other assignments as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and respond to legal process served upon the Bank, including garnishments, levies, and subpoenas.
- Research bank systems to identify customers and accounts subject to attachment, applying appropriate legal and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare supporting legal documentation on behalf of the Bank with the review and oversight of internal legal counsel.
- Negotiate and coordinate production of materials responsive to subpoena requests with requesting parties.
- Work with and coordinate the collection of materials from Bank repositories and systems needed for ongoing litigation and regulatory matters.
- Perform legal research for matters as assigned by the Bank's internal counsel.
Requirements:
- High-level attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to meet deadlines, work independently, multi-task, and coordinate matters among both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate professionally, confidentially, and with decorum due to the high-sensitive nature of certain matters.
- Experience in banking or other financial services industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three to five years' paralegal experience, preferably in the financial services, banking, or similar industry with experience managing and responding to legal process.
- Experience with California law or Missouri law.
- Post-secondary degree or certificate in legal studies or comparable program.
