Development Manager - Fundraising and Event Planning

The American Lung Association is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Development department, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our special events, including recruitment of volunteer committees, sponsors, teams, and individual participants.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing fundraising strategies to achieve revenue goals
  • Managing event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and audio-visual equipment
  • Coordinating with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of event materials
  • Building and maintaining relationships with sponsors, donors, and volunteers
  • Providing excellent customer service to event participants and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
  • Superb organizational skills with a strong attention to details
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and proficient in social & digital media
