Responsibilities- Manage the front desk and reception area, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for clients and their pets.
- Answer and direct phone calls, respond to emails, and communicate with clients and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
- Process client transactions, including payments and credit card transactions, and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, exams, and procedures, and ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed.
- Provide administrative support to the veterinary team, including preparing medical records, updating client information, and performing other tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the reception area and storage areas.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on veterinary medical terminology, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure seamless communication and a high level of customer satisfaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a veterinary or medical office setting.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of veterinary software.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
