About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Director of Retail Marketing to lead multiple markets in the Midwest Business Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving alignment with strategic goals, collaborating across departments and business units, and providing optimal experiences for internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience: Provide remarkable and memorable customer care when interacting with customers, and role model ideal behaviors to ensure Area Directors and indirect reports maintain the same standard.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and foster positive working relationships with retail partner management teams in the region.
  • Business Development: Develop and execute a plan to achieve and exceed short and long-term business and financial objectives across assigned market areas.
  • Operational Execution: Responsible for operational execution, including the work, performance, and behavior of Area Directors.
  • Profitability: Drive profitability of stores by leading through and equipping Area Directors with the tools they need to meet or exceed budgetary responsibilities as it relates to the generation of leads and selling vacation packages.
  • Performance Analysis: Review and analyze weekly production reports to identify trends, strengths, and opportunities, and draw conclusions based on the data to formulate and implement action plans.
  • Brand Standards: Audit and uphold brand standards and dress and appearance guidelines in all assigned stores.
  • Team Development: Build a high-performing team and bench of talent to achieve, exceed, and sustain business results.
  • Talent Acquisition: Proactively partner with Talent Acquisition to understand the talent health of assigned stores by monitoring staffing levels and reviewing staffing data, identify trends and patterns that impact turnover and retention, and develop plans to address areas of opportunity.
  • Competency Development: Understand and address specific team competency issues and recruit candidates to fill those skill gaps.
  • Area Director Management: Accountable for the work, performance, and behavior of Area Directors, deliver weekly one-on-one feedback conversations to provide coaching and meaningful feedback to build capabilities.
  • Development Opportunities: Identify development opportunities for direct reports so they can maximize success in their current role and be positioned for future career growth opportunities, collaborate with VP and execute the plan they develop for the associate.
  • Onboarding and Training: Provide guidance to Area Directors on how to optimize the execution of onboarding, training, coaching, development, and succession planning for their teams to maximize success.
  • Culture and Engagement: Create a fun atmosphere that motivates and inspires the team to reach their potential and exceed expectations, recognize individuals and the team for milestones and goals achieved.
  • Company Policies: Follow and uphold company policies and procedures with all associates in assigned market areas.
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Escalated Coaching: Partner with VP and/or Human Resources on escalated coaching, counseling, performance management, and associate relations matters.
  • Payroll and Compensation: Ensure payroll is accurately tracked and processed on time, submit compensation-related changes prior to deadlines, and hold Area Directors accountable to do the same.
  • Meetings and Trainings: Schedule, attend, and actively participate in team meetings, required trainings, and/or workshops.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Oversee adherence to all Bluegreen, State, and Federal hiring and employment regulations.
  • Area Director Responsibilities: Assume Area Director responsibilities as needed.
  • Special Projects: Complete special projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent experience required.
  • Experience: 4 years marketing management experience and 2 years sales experience required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge and understanding of the timeshare industry, OPC marketing, or telemarketing sales is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Adept at using technology, working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Brand Representation: Willingness to always represent the brand with integrity.
  • Adaptability: Adaptable and flexible to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Leadership: Possess a dynamic personal presence with a strong ability to persuade, communicate, and train associates across multiple market areas.
  • Problem-Solving: Detailed-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong ability to think strategically and analyze information timely and accurately.
  • Team Management: Proven ability to motivate and hold accountable a large team with specific sales goals.
