Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Patient Service Representative to join our team at Snowbasin Clinic. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent Intermountain Health and serve as the point of contact for patients entering our facilities.
  • Establish Collaborative Relationships with patients and fellow caregivers to deliver the highest level of customer/patient satisfaction.
  • Identify and Resolve Patient Needs related to patient intake and care, including greeting and checking-in patients, verifying information supplied by patients, and ensuring superior customer experience.
  • Update and Verify Patient Demographics and insurance information, and assist patients in completing necessary forms to meet regulatory and billing needs.
  • Direct Patients on Next Steps and inform patients about delays and wait times.
  • Schedule Appointments utilizing provider templates and scheduling guidelines.
  • Process Payments from patients on current and past medical services.
  • Support Administrative Functions of the clinic, including working reports, addressing patient concerns, and performing paperwork.
  • Coordinate with Other Care Teams and employees to provide a seamless experience for patients.
Requirements
  • Six Months of Customer Service Experience involving interactions with customers.
  • Demonstrated Basic Computer Skills involving word processing and data entry.
  • Professional Manner and Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One Year of Customer Service Experience, especially in a Hospital or Medical Office.
  • Problem Solving Ability, Analytical Skills, Self-Motivated, and able to work well in a clinic environment.
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communications Skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Interact with Others requiring the employee to communicate information.
  • Operate Computers and Other Office Equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.
  • See and Read Computer Monitors and Documents.
  • Remain Sitting or Standing for Long Periods of Time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.
