We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Patient Service Representative to join our team at Snowbasin Clinic. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Represent Intermountain Health and serve as the point of contact for patients entering our facilities.
- Establish Collaborative Relationships with patients and fellow caregivers to deliver the highest level of customer/patient satisfaction.
- Identify and Resolve Patient Needs related to patient intake and care, including greeting and checking-in patients, verifying information supplied by patients, and ensuring superior customer experience.
- Update and Verify Patient Demographics and insurance information, and assist patients in completing necessary forms to meet regulatory and billing needs.
- Direct Patients on Next Steps and inform patients about delays and wait times.
- Schedule Appointments utilizing provider templates and scheduling guidelines.
- Process Payments from patients on current and past medical services.
- Support Administrative Functions of the clinic, including working reports, addressing patient concerns, and performing paperwork.
- Coordinate with Other Care Teams and employees to provide a seamless experience for patients.
- Six Months of Customer Service Experience involving interactions with customers.
- Demonstrated Basic Computer Skills involving word processing and data entry.
- Professional Manner and Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills.
- One Year of Customer Service Experience, especially in a Hospital or Medical Office.
- Problem Solving Ability, Analytical Skills, Self-Motivated, and able to work well in a clinic environment.
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communications Skills.
- Interact with Others requiring the employee to communicate information.
- Operate Computers and Other Office Equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.
- See and Read Computer Monitors and Documents.
- Remain Sitting or Standing for Long Periods of Time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.
