Job Title: RN Hospital Coordinator

Laredo Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled RN Hospital Coordinator to join our team.

Job Summary:

The RN Hospital Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an assigned unit or clinic section within the hospital. This includes scheduling employee shifts, ensuring admitting and discharge functions are providing for optimal patient flow, and utilizing hospital resources in the most efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of assigned unit or clinic section
  • Schedule employee shifts and ensure optimal patient flow
  • Utilize hospital resources in the most efficient manner
  • Assign patients to appropriate health practitioners
Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with a license by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners and a current Registered Nurse license. Strong communication, organizational, prioritization, and planning skills are required.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position with a 40-hour work week and availability to staff as needed. The hospital is located in sunny Laredo, Texas, just 150 miles south of historic San Antonio. Virtual interviewing processes are available for out-of-town applicants.
