About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Unit at Doctors Hospital of Laredo. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and competent nursing care to patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide professional leadership and support.
  • Implement Patient Centered Care principles to deliver high-quality care.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
  • BLS (or obtained during orientation).
  • Current state nursing license.
  • Prefer one year full-time or three years part-time experience in an acute care setting.
  • BLS, ACLS, or PALS (or obtained within six months of employment) in the required specialty.
  • Handle with Care (or obtained within six months of employment) in the required specialty.
  • Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
