Job Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact between employees, applicants, and other stakeholders. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and effective communication, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Reception and Communication: Answer all phone calls, greet applicants, and assist with the completion of job applications. Maintain good communication between staff, visitors, and business contacts.
  2. Administrative Support: Prepare files, maintenance forms, personnel files, and bulletin boards to reflect changes. Assist with processing paperwork, including ICIMS, performance evaluations, transfers, new hires, terminations, and other correspondence.
  3. Data Entry and Recordkeeping: Process data entry/recordkeeping accurately using the HRIS system for all employee transactions in accordance with policies and procedures. Order necessary departmental office supplies using the HSS system and/or requisition process.
  4. Event Coordination: Coordinate the facility New Employee Orientation program, birthday luncheons, and assist with employee badges as needed.
  5. Employee Support: Assist employees with benefit application/issues, payroll check issues, accrual problems, orientation, and other HR-related issues. Verify employment on all employees by referring to personnel records and/or other available means.

Qualifications
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Associates degree preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Prior HR experience in a healthcare environment preferred
  • Minimum 3 years clerical experience required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Programs required
