This employee communicates with customers for the purposes of answering questions, resolving problems, determining ongoing and additional product/service needs, and supporting compliance to physician direction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers through clear and concise communication
- Document customer interactions, entering orders and updates into our computerized record keeping system
- Verify and update customer demographic information to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Analyze and interpret documents, such as patient orders, to provide informed support
- Develop a strong understanding of pharmacy prescription terminology to effectively communicate with customers
- Collaborate with coworkers and patients to provide seamless support and training
- Apply mathematical skills to calculate figures and amounts related to customer orders
- Exercise sound judgment to carry out instructions and make informed decisions
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with one to three months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Meet any licensing requirements necessary for the role
- Proven data-entry and computer skills
Physical Demands:
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
