Front Desk Receptionist

SightMD is seeking a highly skilled Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Schedule appointments and verify patient information
- Gather and track medical information from patients
- Organize and input data into electronic health records
- Process patients' health insurance and obtain prior authorization for procedures
- Support the office team with administrative and secretarial tasks
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and providers to ensure patient needs are met
- Maintain HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of patient information
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills
- Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
- Above average customer service skills and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
