About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Guest Services Supervisor to join our team at the StateView Hotel, part of the Marriott Autograph Collection. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring that guests receive exceptional service. This includes managing and training front desk staff, scheduling shifts, and ensuring adequate coverage. You will also be responsible for handling guest complaints and issues, resolving them in a timely and professional manner. Additionally, you will assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve guest service and streamline operations. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring that guests receive exceptional service
  • Manage and train front desk staff, scheduling shifts and ensuring adequate coverage
  • Handle guest complaints and issues, resolving them in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure that all administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently, including check-ins, check-outs, and billing
  • Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve guest service and streamline operations
  • Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure that guest needs are met
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • 1+ years prior guest service experience required, preferably in a hospitality setting
  • Excellent verbal communication skills needed
  • Attention to detail, customer focused, and the ability to perform job duties in a fast-paced environment
