Guest Service Representative

Job Summary:
The Guest Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay is memorable and enjoyable. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized service to guests, responding to their needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage guest reservations, check-ins, and check-outs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Process payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain a high level of cash handling accuracy.
- Assist with room assignments, ensuring guest preferences are met and rooms are prepared to the highest standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve guest issues and concerns, ensuring a positive experience.
- Stay up-to-date with hotel facilities, services, and local attractions, providing recommendations to guests.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to hotel standards and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a front desk or customer service role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling.
- Knowledge of hotel systems, including FOSSE, Microsoft, and Micros Restaurant Management System.
Work Environment:
This role requires a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. The Guest Service Representative must be able to lift 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
