The Role

We are seeking an IT Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our company's IT infrastructure. This role involves working closely with other IT team members to ensure that all systems meet our organization's needs for performance, reliability, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deploy IT systems, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud-based services (Microsoft 365/Azure)
  • Provide hands-on guidance and development for planning, analysis, and troubleshooting of user requirements, architecture, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems
  • Partner with software engineering and development teams to provide technical support and ensure optimized performance
  • Network administration, including switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
  • System administration, including Macs, PCs, and mobile devices
  • Live streaming IT support, including studio hardware and software development, configuration, and maintenance
  • Active Directory Management, including user and user permissions, internet services, access, and permissions for approved users
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, required
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus
  • 5+ years of professional experience with IT systems engineering, required
  • 5+ years of administrative experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), required
  • Hands-on experience with server and network administration, virtualization, and cloud technologies
  • High level of organization; strong attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
What We Offer

WeTheHobby offers a competitive salary range of $80k - $120k annually, based on location and experience. We participate in E-Verify to ensure compliance with Federal and State laws.
