Our North American Semiconductor division is currently seeking a Material Handler in Austin, TX.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming shipments from suppliers.
- Conduct verification and inspection of received products.
- Facilitate the transfer of materials to designated locations.
- Execute cycle counts, manage physical inventory, and perform all related material movement and inventory control tasks.
- Carry out standard shipping procedures in compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., hazardous materials, electrostatic discharge packaging) and utilize shipping platforms such as FedEx/UPS and ShipERP/customer couriers as necessary.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds as required.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Prior experience in warehouse operations is essential.
- Proficiency in MS Office and similar business software applications.
- Familiarity with labeling and barcode systems is preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) is advantageous.
- Background in shipping, receiving, and other warehouse-related tasks is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy is crucial.
