Position Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and organized Inventory Control Specialist to become a vital part of our team at Tarrytown Expocare LLC. This role is crucial for the effective management of our inventory and the seamless functioning of our pharmacy operations.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (CST)

Core Responsibilities:

  • Receive and log incoming pharmaceutical products utilizing computerized systems.
  • Systematically arrange medications on shelves in accordance with established protocols.
  • Ensure the accuracy of received shipments by cross-referencing with purchase orders and packing lists.
  • Maintain tidy and organized storage spaces.
  • Participate in regular inventory assessments and cycle counts.
  • Report any discrepancies or issues regarding inventory to the Purchasing Director.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures for medication handling.
  • Support additional inventory-related tasks as required.
  • Assist with pharmacy technician responsibilities when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Texas pharmacy technician license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education or experience in inventory management is advantageous.
  • Proficient computer skills are essential.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
  • Capability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.
  • Prior experience in a pharmacy or inventory management setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • This position requires standing for extended periods with limited opportunities to sit.
