Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Airport Ramp Service Agent to join our team at Unifi. As a key member of our ground handling operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of aircraft.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 70 pounds regularly, as well as work in cramped or high places.

Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading aircraft
  • Safeguarding customers' baggage and cargo
  • Operating pushback equipment and maintaining visual contact with Wing Walkers
  • Receiving and recording customer baggage, airfreight, mail, and company materials
  • Picking up, delivering, and transporting cargo and baggage to and from aircraft
  • Completing paperwork and forms connected with work assignments

Requirements:

  • Local (in-state) residency
  • Valid In-State Driver's License
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and up to a 10-year background check
  • Age 18 or older
  • Authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Preferred Qualifications: One+ year of relevant experience
