About the Role

The People Operations Associate will play a vital role in supporting the Builders Network team and the Lubetzky Family Foundation. Reporting to the Senior Manager, People & Culture, this position will be responsible for sourcing and recruiting top talent, streamlining the hiring and onboarding process, and supporting HR needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition:
    • Support the internal hiring process for all roles at a VP level and below.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to craft and edit job descriptions.
    • Conduct market research to benchmark roles based on internal salary bands.
    • Align with hiring managers on interview processes to ensure success.
    • Manage Workable sites, posting new roles, vetting incoming resumes, and responding to candidates.
    • Circulate open roles internally and externally within the network.
    • Support hiring managers with candidate tracking and scheduling follow-up communications.
    • Engage in proactive recruiting and networking for open roles and future sourcing.
    • Track strong candidates in the CRM system to build the organization's internal talent network.
  • HR Generalist:
    • Become proficient in TriNet, the PEO system, to support new hires, update team member information, and respond to payroll/benefits/platform questions.
    • Support the Senior Manager in an annual audit of all HR files, ensuring proper documentation and filing throughout the year.
    • Support the core LFF team and the Senior Manager in bi-annual team summit planning and execution.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition and recruiting, with at least 1-2 years focused on talent acquisition.
  • Desire to learn new skills and adapt to changing responsibilities within the People Operations space.
  • Resourceful and proactive self-starter who can navigate ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a desire to take ownership over work and results.
  • Team player who can work collaboratively and support others when needed.
  • Comfortable giving and receiving feedback.
  • Operates with integrity, kindness, and transparency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Outlook, and Google Drive.
