Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team at Galileo Technologies Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department, including tasks such as recruitment, employee onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist in the recruitment process by sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, and collecting and organizing new hire paperwork.
  • Benefits Administration: Maintain accurate records of employee benefits, including leaves, time off, and other personnel-related data.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
  • Employee Relations: Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate training sessions as necessary, and maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in human resource management, business administration, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience working in HR in a professional setting.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
