Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison between LabCorp, our clientele, and patients.
  • Address routine customer inquiries regarding products or services through various communication channels.
  • Interact with customers in a polite, friendly, and professional manner, adhering to established protocols.
  • Clarify and confirm customer needs and understanding of solutions provided.
  • Offer additional education and information to customers as necessary.
  • Qualify and onboard new customers seeking LabCorp's products and services.
  • Utilize multiple databases to investigate complex issues and inquiries.
  • Inform clients of test results promptly and accurately.
  • Review test documentation for accuracy and report any inconsistencies.
  • Engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and overall business performance.
  • Provide administrative support for medical record management, CRM data upkeep, and internal documentation to ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience in a customer service capacity is essential.
  • Experience in a contact center or call center environment is advantageous.
  • Background in the healthcare sector, such as in a physician's office or hospital, is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.
  • Familiarity with Laboratory Information Systems is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent listening abilities, are required.
  • Must demonstrate a courteous demeanor with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Exceptional multitasking skills are necessary.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities swiftly is essential.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
