Position Overview: This role is pivotal in managing projects and facilitating the onboarding of new clients onto the Ascensus platform.

  • Act as the main liaison for plan sponsors, advisors, and internal teams to ensure successful onboarding of client plans onto the Ascensus platform.
  • Develop, implement, and manage efficient project timelines and deliverables for clients.
  • Collaborate with plan sponsors, consultants, and previous service providers to ensure accurate conversion of plan data, assets, and liabilities.
  • Conduct weekly status calls with clients and external partners to provide updates and address outstanding issues. Organize meeting materials, including agendas and minutes.
  • Interpret legal plan documents and implementation processes, translating client requests into actionable tasks.
  • Investigate and comprehend the client onboarding process, plan setup, and necessary project documentation. Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve system configuration issues.
  • Take ownership of client inquiries and issues, utilizing available resources for resolution.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to prepare client data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Compile necessary documentation for initial plan setup and provide post-implementation support by creating detailed administration manuals outlining project processes.
  • Manage multiple client cases, adapting to changing priorities and project needs.
  • Consistently meet or exceed performance expectations in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Engage in continuous learning through daily activities.
  • Collaborate and share knowledge with team members.
  • Maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in the retirement plan industry, with knowledge of non-qualified deferred compensation plans being advantageous.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of retirement plan implementations and conversions.
