Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Shaw Construction. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the field construction of a project, including its organization, planning, and scheduling, to ensure timely completion, within budget, and to the specified quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Study and understand contract documents, including plans, specifications, and owner-contractor agreements, to execute work properly.
  • Team Leadership: Organize and lead the division of work among the on-site Shaw team, including superintendents and foremen.
  • Subcontractor Management: Review subcontractor scopes of work, coordinate with project managers, and develop and implement site planning, logistics, and build strategies.
  • Safety and Security: Establish and enforce a comprehensive project safety and security program, as defined in the company safety program and in accordance with applicable safety codes and regulations.
  • Quality Control: Develop and implement the Shaw 1-2-3 Quality Control program, including conducting pre-phase meetings, first-day inspections, scheduled inspections, and coordinating third-party tests and inspections.
  • Documentation and Communication: Maintain an on-site copy of record documents, including drawings, specifications, submittals, and as-built drawings, and develop and implement a process for submittal review and approval.
  • Project Performance: Document project performance, including daily reports, time cards, safety inspections, and training, and obtain necessary permits and coordinate activities with inspection agencies.
Requirements
  • Education: Four-year college degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of building construction experience required at the superintendent level for ground-up projects between $20M and $100M.
  • Compensation: Salary range $95,000 to $150,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience, with bonus opportunities.
