We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, controlling, and directing the work of employees in the Kitchen Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop menus, recipes, and food preparation methods to ensure superior quality and consistency.
- Assist in the planning and development of consistent service of food items, including menu engineering and inventory management.
- Direct and supervise kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and other kitchen personnel.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as food and beverage, to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
- Proven track record of success in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen operations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
