About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Six Flags. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for representing our brand to guests, applicants, and team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the recruitment process for all Lodge & Park positions, including scheduling and attending job fairs and recruitment visits.
  • Process hire requests and maintain a listing of all open positions for seasonal positions.
  • Ensure job postings are timely and distributed to various outside sources to attract a quality pool of applicants.
  • Review applications, screen applicants, and make seasonal hiring decisions for selected positions.
  • Route applications to hiring managers/supervisors for review and track daily applications.
  • Assist with the facilitation of Discovery classes for new and returning team members.
  • Support the day-to-day Wardrobe operation and monthly inventory.
  • Plan, coordinate, promote, and manage team member activities and special events.
  • Coordinate internal communications for all team members.
  • Oversee the input and maintenance of Personnel records.
  • Monitor and track information through various databases.
  • Oversee the weekly paycheck distribution plan.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • College coursework in Human Resources or Business Management a plus.
  • Previous office experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in conducting training sessions and orientations preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Valid Driver's License and clear driving record.
