Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinician to join our Mobile Crisis team at Northern Rivers Family of Services. As a Clinician, you will provide crisis risk assessments, crisis stabilization, and interventions to individuals experiencing emotional, behavioral, and psychiatric crises.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct rapid response to adults, children, adolescents, and families in crisis, providing phone and on-site support within the community.
  • Conduct risk assessments, mental status examinations, and substance abuse screening to identify action plans for crisis stabilization and prevention.
  • Coordinate with community resources for collateral input and follow-up care, including referrals for mental health treatment and substance abuse assessment and treatment.
  • Provide short-term crisis intervention and stabilization services to individuals and families in their homes or communities.
Requirements:
  • LMSW, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R licensure
  • Masters' degree (MSW/MHC) and two years of related experience
  • Valid NYS Drivers License and ability to drive to clients' homes and communities
