Position Summary

We are seeking a Marketing Specialist for a full-time exempt role in our Washington D.C. office. This position is ideal for a creative individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to contribute to our marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Business Development in overseeing the financial components of the Marketing Department, including budgeting and reporting.
  • Develop, edit, and disseminate a variety of marketing materials, such as attorney biographies, matter descriptions, proposals, and internal communications, particularly for stakeholders in the Washington D.C. office.
  • Enhance the marketing visibility of the firm within the Washington D.C. area.
  • Manage and track profile-raising activities, including significant events, social media campaigns, community engagement, conferences, and sponsorships. Create and coordinate marketing content to support these initiatives.
  • Oversee the Pitchly database to ensure accurate tracking of matters and pitch notifications. Provide training to marketing staff and attorneys on its usage and liaise with vendor contacts.
  • Analyze marketing data, including campaign performance, conversion rates, and online traffic, to refine and strengthen future marketing strategies.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a marketing role, managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a law firm or professional services setting.
