Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and develop innovative methodologies and techniques aimed at enhancing product quality, minimizing errors, accelerating production lines, and optimizing cost-effectiveness.
  • Propose and execute strategies, techniques, and technologies designed to reduce downtime and elevate quality standards.
  • Ensure that finished products are correctly assembled and conform to established quality benchmarks within designated timeframes.
  • Utilize sound engineering principles to address challenges and complete assigned projects efficiently and on schedule.
  • Document all research findings and establish systems for monitoring and recording process modifications.
  • Conduct testing and thorough evaluations of all finished products in relation to engineering modifications.
  • Implement recommended changes based on analytical evaluations and findings.
  • Design engineering solutions and construct or modify equipment in accordance with these designs.
  • Test and troubleshoot; follow through on designs, assemblies, process enhancements, and error-proofing equipment as necessary.
  • Develop, assess, and refine manufacturing methods for assembly and subsequent operations.
  • Plan, organize, and execute tests and analyses on samples of completed components.
  • Analyze and strategize workforce utilization, spatial requirements, and workflow, while designing equipment and workspace layouts for optimal efficiency.
  • Provide 24-hour emergency engineering support through on-call or on-site assistance as needed.
  • Collaborate with planning and design teams regarding product design to ensure efficient production methodologies.
  • Engage with vendors to ascertain product specifications and coordinate the procurement of equipment, materials, or components, while evaluating products against specifications and quality standards.
  • Estimate production timelines, staffing needs, and associated costs to inform management decisions.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in the industry.
