The Safety Director plays a critical role in ensuring the safety of all workers in the manufacturing process. This position is responsible for developing and implementing safety policies and procedures, conducting safety inspections and audits, providing safety training, and analyzing safety data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide safety training to employees to ensure they understand and follow safety protocols.
  • Analyze safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Lead and motivate a team of safety members to ensure effective safety management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health, engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in safety management, preferably in an industrial manufacturing setting, with a proven track record of success in developing and implementing safety programs.
  • Certifications: CSP, OSHA 30, Forklift trainer, Aerial/Scissor lift trainer, CPR & First Aid.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and codes relevant to industrial manufacturing.
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team of safety members.
