We are currently on the lookout for an Automotive Service Specialist

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute tasks outlined in the repair order efficiently and in alignment with dealership standards.
  • Conduct test drives and assess vehicle components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair various automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about additional service needs and provide time estimates for repairs.
  • Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications
  • ASE Certifications are preferred, with a willingness to pursue further certifications.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Technician is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Proficiency in Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
  • Strong dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to utilize electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and basic computer proficiency.
  • A positive and friendly demeanor, coupled with a desire for continuous improvement.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies, repair methods, and specifications.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Compensation Structure
  • The Automotive Service Specialist role features a pay scale that includes a base hourly compensation starting at $39.00 per hour.
