Key Responsibilities- Manage the complete case settlement process, including obtaining and tracking releases and payments
- Order and track medical records, ensuring timely and accurate documentation
- Negotiate medical reductions and resolve liens, utilizing strong communication and negotiation skills
- Prepare and verify settlement distribution ledgers, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
- Coordinate with accounting for timely fund distribution and expense reimbursement, ensuring seamless financial management
- Maintain comprehensive tracking systems for payouts and medical records, providing valuable insights for case management
- Collaborate with the Client Concierge on post-settlement activities, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction
- Conduct research on legal issues related to payouts and medical records, staying up-to-date on industry developments
- Develop and maintain efficient organizational systems using Outlook, SharePoint, and Filevine, optimizing productivity and workflow
- Submit regular KPI reports and projections to management, providing valuable insights for business growth
- Experience in a personal injury law firm in obtaining medical records, managing the settlement process, and negotiating liens and reductions
- Excellent negotiation, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong understanding of data management and analysis
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple complex cases, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
