Medical Records Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Records Analyst to join our team at Universal Health Services. As a key member of our Health Information Management department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of patient records.
Responsibilities- Record Assembly: Assemble discharged records in a timely and accurate manner.
- Record Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of discharged records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Statistical Data Collection: Collect and analyze statistical data on discharge records to inform quality improvement initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure accurate and efficient record processing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent and relevant experience in health information management or a related field.
This role requires:
- Prolonged sitting and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds of patient files.
- Occasional bending, stooping, and kneeling to access files and equipment.
- Good hearing and vision to perform essential activities.
