Role Summary

As a Client Services Associate I, you will serve as a vital advocate for our members, focusing on enhancing their financial well-being. Your role will involve providing insightful guidance on the financial solutions available through our institution, while fostering enduring relationships with our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire a comprehensive understanding of AltaOne's offerings. Utilize member interactions to recommend additional products and services that promote financial health. Strive to meet referral targets that align with the credit union's growth objectives.
  • Execute standard teller functions, including cash handling, check processing, transfers, and addressing member inquiries as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate cash drawer operations, ensuring compliance with established guidelines. Adhere to AltaOne's cashiering protocols while following security policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all organizational policies and relevant regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act and the Patriot Act.

Qualifications

Experience
  • Between six months to two years of relevant experience, including time spent in preparatory roles.
Education
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Interpersonal Skills
  • Exemplary courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential. The role involves regular personal interactions with individuals both within and outside the organization, primarily concerning routine matters.
Physical Requirements
  • Primarily sedentary work with occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of navigating stairs in emergencies and operating standard office equipment.
Working Environment
  • Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment with moderate noise levels.
Mental and Emotional Requirements
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also being an effective team player. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions clearly and perform basic financial calculations accurately.
