Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at The Christ Hospital Cardiovascular Associates. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality cardiovascular services.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs and medical histories, to identify potential health risks and develop effective care plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal treatment outcomes.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide education to patients and their families on disease management and self-care techniques.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust care plans as needed, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license in the state of practice.
  • 3 years of experience in cardiovascular nursing, with a focus on clinical care and patient education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare software systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
  • Experience with defibrillators, blood pressure monitors, and other cardiovascular equipment.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
