Role Overview

As a Clinical Nutrition Specialist, you will guide patients, families, and healthcare staff in all facets of medical nutrition therapy, fostering a healthy and supportive environment. You will collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to enhance patient satisfaction and ensure that nutritional needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and implement evidence-based interventions for both inpatient and outpatient care.
  • Educate patients, families, nursing staff, food service personnel, and other healthcare professionals on nutritional requirements.
  • Document patient assessments, nutritional goals, and interventions in medical records.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and clinical staff regarding patients' nutritional statuses.
  • Manage physician orders for therapeutic diets and nutritional supplements.
  • Participate in patient rounds and uphold clinical nutrition policies to ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications
